Social Responsibility
School students are given stationary, books etc. every year to encourage studies.
Keeping in mind the digital era, children in the charitable school are having access to computers also.
Lalitaben Manibhai Patel ME School – established in 1988 has 120 students in classes 5,6,7,8.
Every year, the children participate in a drawing competition held by Jalinga and prizes are also given. This encourages them to explore Art.
West Jalinga Tea Estate Central Hospital is fully operational with OPD and also a labour room provision.
2000 non – plastic reusable bottles distributed to the estate workers to reduce use of plastic.
Jalinga sponsored the Annual Football Tournament for 15 tea estates workers around Jalinga in October 2019

Zero emission cook-stoves have been given to all 1300workers! This is good for their health and the environment. We earn Carbon Credits from Atmosfair Germany with this social project! Jalinga is the 1st tea Estate in India to be doing this.
